Template text. Fill in every highlighted field and have a lawyer review it before launch. It is written for a free game with cash rewards run from Denmark.

1. The game

Minetown is a free online game run by [COMPANY NAME], CVR [CVR NUMBER]. There is no fee to play and nothing to buy.

2. Who can play

You must be 18 or older. One account per person. Accounts are personal and can't be sold or transferred.

3. Level rewards

We fund a reward pool with our own money. Players who reach a level can claim the reward shown for that level while there is money left in the pool. When the pool is empty, no more rewards can be claimed until we top it up. We can change reward amounts or stop rewards at any time. Rewards already claimed and approved will still be paid.

A level reward can only be claimed once per account, and only once the account is old enough and has enough verified play for that level. The game shows when each reward opens.

Claims are paid once a day at the payout time shown in the game, to the payout address you enter. You are responsible for entering a correct address. We can't recover payments sent to a wrong address you gave us.

4. Weekly vault

If we fund a weekly vault, it is shared between players in proportion to the points they earned that week, as shown in the game. [Describe minimum payout amounts, if any.]

5. Fair play

Cheating, bots, scripts, editing game data, using several accounts, or sharing a payout address between accounts is not allowed. We review every claim before paying it. We can refuse or hold back payouts, reset progress, or close accounts if we have good reason to believe these rules were broken.

6. Taxes

Rewards may be taxable income for you. You are responsible for reporting them where you live. [Check with an accountant whether the company must report payouts to the tax authority.]

7. Availability and changes

We try to keep the game running but can't promise it will always be available. We may change the game and these terms. If we make important changes to the terms, we'll tell you in the game before they apply.

8. Liability

We aren't liable for indirect losses or lost progress, except where the law says otherwise.

9. Law and disputes

Danish law applies. Disputes go to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the rules in your own country.
